About
Hi, I’m Sarah. I have been working with children from birth to 18 years since 1995.
I started as a Sleep Coach and Newborn Care Specialist in 2004 and it has become my passion. I love helping families with little one(s) at home who feel like sleep is a distant memory. Whether I am partnering with parents as a newborn night nurse, a sleep training expert, as a nanny, or accompanying them on vacation, I work with diligence and care to ensure all children under my watch are nurtured and loved. Perhaps it’s my midwestern roots, but I believe warmth and kindness are of the utmost importance.
I started as a mothers helper of twins in 1995 and from there I have worked in day care and private home settings until I focused my work on overnight newborn care and sleep guidance. I have helped countless families by teaching them healthy sleep habits and helping them understand their babies needs.
Babies and children are my passion and I love helping people. I’m proud to say I am Adult/Child/Infant CPR Certified, First Aid Certified, and a member of the International Nanny Association (INA). I also have been trained as a Postpartum Doula through DONA International and received my Newborn Care Specialist Certification with Gentle Ventures.
Most importantly, I LOVE my job and I take great pride in working hard and making sure the families and babies I partner with are happy, healthy and safe. And I’m fortunate to work with an amazing group of caretakers who share my mission.
I wish you all healthy days and restful nights

Since I was a little girl, I always knew I wanted to be a mother. As the oldest sibling, caregiving came naturally to me, and I learned early on the importance of patience, compassion, and nurturing others. That passion eventually led me to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education with a double major in Developmental Psychology, followed by a Master’s degree in Special Education.
Becoming a teacher was a dream come true. I loved helping children learn, grow, and develop confidence, kindness, and independence. However, over time, I realized that while I enjoyed teaching, my heart was drawn to building deeper, more personal connections with children and families.
After completing a school year that I will always look back on with gratitude, I decided to take a leap of faith and explore a new path. A cousin who worked as a nanny encouraged me to give it a try. Within just a few days of creating my Care.com profile, I connected with my first family, and I have been supporting children and families ever since.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of caring for children through many stages of development. From nurturing newborns during their earliest days, to guiding curious toddlers through play and discovery, to supporting children as they prepare for and transition into school, I have loved every step of the journey. Each child and family has taught me something valuable, and I feel honored to play a role in their lives during such important years.
My goal is always to provide a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where children can thrive and families feel confident, cared for, and understood. Working closely with children and parents in a more personal setting has allowed me to combine my education, experience, and passion in the most meaningful way, and I am grateful every day to do work that I truly love.

Hi, my name is Joelle. I graduated from Northeast Vocational Technical High School, where I earned my license in Early Education and Care to teach infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children.
After high school, I began my career in early childhood education at an early learning center, working primarily with preschool-aged children. Through dedication and experience, I advanced into a Lead Teacher role, where I had the opportunity to guide classroom programming and support children's growth and development.
While working full-time, I attended college and earned my Bachelor's degree from UMass Boston in Early Education and Care in Inclusive Settings (EECIS). Following graduation, I accepted a position in Early Intervention as a Developmental Specialist. In this role, I partnered with 25 to 30 families of children from birth to age three, supporting developmental goals, providing education on infant and child development, and helping families navigate concerns related to growth, milestones, and daily routines. This experience allowed me to build strong relationships with families while supporting children during some of the most important years of development.
After four years in Early Intervention, I made a significant career change and became a Court Officer. While I am grateful for the experiences and skills I gained in that role, it also helped me realize how much I missed working directly with babies, young children, and their families. Supporting children during their earliest years has always been where my passion lies, and I value the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of families during such an important stage of life.

I am a certified Newborn Care Specialist with more than 10 years of professional experience supporting families and caring for newborns. My love for babies began long before my career in childcare—I was always the child eager to hold every baby at family gatherings. Even after becoming a mother of three, that passion has never changed. Caring for infants and supporting families during the newborn stage continues to be one of the greatest joys of my life.
My experience working with children spans nearly two decades. It began in high school as a teacher’s assistant for a local cooperative program and continued through roles as a pediatric physical therapy aide, full-time nanny, and ultimately as a Newborn Care Specialist. While each of these experiences helped shape my career, becoming a mother has been my most meaningful and rewarding role.
Over the years, I have taken occasional breaks from working with outside families to focus on raising my own children, but I have always found my way back to newborn care. My personal experience as a parent has deepened my understanding of the challenges and rewards that come with welcoming a new baby. It has also given me a firsthand appreciation for the importance of quality sleep and healthy routines for both babies and parents.
I am passionate about helping families establish healthy sleep habits and creating routines that support the well-being of the entire household. My goal is to provide compassionate, knowledgeable care while helping parents feel confident, supported, and well-rested during this special transition.
I am CPR certified and fully vaccinated, including COVID vaccinations and boosters. Outside of work, I enjoy homeschooling my children, reading about history, and exploring new adventures with my family. I look forward to supporting families as they navigate the joys of welcoming a new baby and helping them build a strong foundation for the months and years ahead.

My name is Marcela Borges, and I am passionate about caring for children and supporting families during some of the most important stages of their lives. My journey in childcare began at a young age when I helped care for my baby sister during my mother's postpartum period. That experience sparked a lifelong love of nurturing children and supporting families.
I have more than seven years of childcare experience in the United States as both an au pair and nanny, providing care for newborns, infants, and young children. My experience includes supporting families with newborn care, overnight routines, daily caregiving, and creating safe, nurturing environments where children can thrive. In addition to my work in the U.S., I have gained valuable experience in Canada working in a home daycare setting and in Brazil at both a school and daycare center, where I supported children's learning, daily routines, social development, and emotional well-being.
I am CPR and First Aid certified, up to date on all vaccinations, and have completed Stanford University's Child Nutrition and Cooking course. I am also pursuing my long-term goal of attending nursing school to become a midwife, combining my passion for maternal health, newborn care, and family support.
Families describe me as patient, dependable, and caring. I believe every child deserves a safe, loving, and supportive environment where they feel valued and encouraged to grow. My goal is always to provide attentive, compassionate care while building trusting relationships with both children and parents.
It is a privilege to be part of a family's journey, and I look forward to continuing to support children and families with warmth, dedication, and professionalism.
Marie

Hi, I’m Marie, a postpartum doula. I have always been drawn to babies. I love everything about them. I was always the person in my family that would be found holding the babies at gatherings and holidays.
For the past 28 years, I have been an esthetician, and for the past 14 years an esthetics instructor as well. I consider myself a healer and I use energy work in my practice.
As a professional postpartum doula, I have been fortunate enough to be able to combine my passion for babies with my abilities as a healer. I use a combination of love, energy work, and baby massage to soothe and comfort babies in their first few month of adjusting to their new surroundings.
I get great pleasure and satisfaction from caring and nurturing the babies, as well as helping and supporting the parents. As the mother of two children, all grown up now, I know what sleep deprivation can do to new parents and how important it is to have an occasional good nights sleep and recharge!
I have been married to my husband Martin for over 30 years. We have two wonderful and successful children, Marty and Hannah, and our first grandchild Luke!
We were blessed with an amazing daughter-in-law when Marty married his love, Kelsey. We also have three rescue dogs (who think they are children) and we foster dogs when we can.
My advice to parents of infants: Don’t get so caught up in everyone else’s story. Enjoy your own journey. Everyone is different. Yes, it can be overwhelming, but focus on the process and the positive.
We are here to help you and support you. When I'm not doulaing, I also enjoy reading and the ocean.

Hello families, my name is Rafa, and I am 27 years old. I live in Framingham, Massachusetts, and have more than seven years of experience working with children and supporting families. My childcare journey in the United States began as an au pair for a family in Acton, caring for two young boys who were 3 months and 2 years old when I started. I remained with that family for four years, building a strong bond with both the children and their parents while gaining valuable experience in infant and toddler care.
Since then, I have worked with multiple families, caring for children of various ages, from newborns to older children. Throughout my career, I have developed a special passion for working with babies, particularly newborns. I enjoy supporting families during the early stages of parenthood and helping create a nurturing environment where both babies and parents can thrive.
As an experienced nanny and overnight Newborn Care Specialist, I strive to provide families with knowledgeable, compassionate support. I enjoy sharing the experience and skills I have gained over the years, helping parents navigate newborn care, establish healthy routines, and feel more confident during this important transition. Providing overnight support allows me to help families get the rest they need while ensuring their baby receives attentive, loving care.
I am CPR certified and fully vaccinated, including COVID vaccinations and boosters. Families often appreciate my calm, caring, and dependable approach, and I am committed to providing the highest level of care and professionalism. It is a privilege to support families during such a special time, and I look forward to helping parents and their little ones feel comfortable, supported, and well cared for.

Hello! My name is Rheanna, I’m 36 years old and live in Woburn, MA. I am a trained Newborn Care Specialist with a degree in Human Development & Family Studies from the University of Vermont.
Directly from college I spent time working at a residential facility that helped to reunify young mothers with their children. I spent every shift caring for babies and helping young mothers develop their parenting skills in every way!
I’ve worked as a professional nanny for over 14 years, caring for children in some capacity since I was a young teenager.
Throughout my career as a nanny I’ve cared for children of all ages, but specifically enjoy infants and newborns, which made my move to Newborn Care, natural and joyful.
I’ve found NCS work to be very rewarding! I love being able to provide a night of peace and care for our families when they need it the most!
You can rest assured while I am working that my naturally gentle, organized, patient and caring demeanor will allow me to focus on your babies needs while creating a healthy and happy routine for your family!

Hi, I’m Savanna!
I have nearly a decade of professional childcare experience, most extensively with infants— including experience with preemies & multiples (triplets). I am very passionate about professional development, always doing my best to continuously learn more about infant growth, development, and best practices of care. I truly love supporting families during the postpartum transition & believe that supporting, caring for, and empowering parents in the early stages of bringing home a new baby is immeasurably invaluable to the health and wellbeing of the entire family. I feel extremely privileged to stand alongside each and every family I support.
I did my Newborn Care Specialist training through Newborn Care Solutions, which was an incredible training providing me with a wealth of knowledge, further supporting my years of “boots on the ground” experience. I also completed a NICU Informed Support Training course (International Childbirth Education Association accredited)— which delved more deeply into the NICU experience— expanding my understanding of premature infants & best practices to support caring for their unique needs.
I am incredibly nurturing, calm, and dependable with a strong attention to detail. I pride myself on my ability to adapt to the individual needs of each baby and family I am supporting— with a strong goal of creating a calm, neurologically supportive environment, setting a foundation for infants to thrive.
Outside of work, I am known as the “baby guru” amongst friends and family and love being a source of knowledge and encouragement for all of the parents in my community. Additionally, I am an avid rock climber, often training or planning my next destination climbing trip with my partner and friends! I’m also a lifelong equestrian, with a deep love for all animals— but especially equines.
I can’t wait to meet and support your family!

With 18 years of experience in infant care, including roles as a Lead Infant Teacher and Newborn Care Specialist, I provide calm, attentive, and professional overnight care for newborns and young infants. My education in Early Childhood Education, with a minor in Special Needs, gives me a strong foundation in infant development and individualized care.
I specialize in supporting families during the newborn and early infancy stages by providing nurturing overnight care that allows parents to rest and recover with confidence. Every baby is unique, and I tailor my approach to meet each infant's temperament, developmental needs, and family preferences.
My overnight services include feeding support (breastfed, bottle-fed, or expressed milk), diaper changes, soothing and comforting, sleep support, monitoring developmental progress, and maintaining a safe sleep environment. I am experienced in establishing age-appropriate routines while remaining responsive to each baby's individual needs.
CPR and First Aid certified, I prioritize safety, consistency, and gentle care throughout the night. I also assist with infant-related tasks such as bottle preparation and sanitation, washing pump parts, baby laundry, and nursery organization, helping families start each day feeling prepared and supported.
Clear communication is essential. I provide detailed overnight logs, including feeding times, diaper changes, sleep patterns, and any notable observations, ensuring parents remain informed and confident in their baby's care.
My goal is to provide expert overnight support, helping infants feel secure and comforted while giving parents the opportunity to get the rest they need during this special stage of life.
